The Tubular Coolers for Chiller Water aims to replace the use of ice in chillers through the direct cooling of water through an evaporator.
Achievement of lower final product temperatures.
Greater control of the refrigeration capacity due to variations in the thermal load associated to the process (variation in the slaughter speed and weight of the carcasses).
The RETMAC features a heat exchanger and liquid separator in a single piece of equipment, being easy to install and operate. It has an integrated PLC, performing the entire process in a controlled and automatic way. The motorized pressure modulating valve provides precise control of evaporation pressure and water temperature. The arrangement and circuit of the tubes were carefully designed in order to obtain high thermal efficiency and guarantee the desired water temperatures.
The RETMACs are manufactured in order to meet 100% health requirements. All components in contact with water are made of stainless steel, with sanitary connections and joints: the water does not come into contact with any contaminating substance or surface. Cleaning is carried out by means of CIP (Clean In Place), allowing access to the interior of the tubes for mechanical cleaning. The design and construction of the equipment also ensures that the water is not contaminated with the cooling fluid.
For cooling giblets, Mebrafe offers RETMAC MINI, which are tube heat exchangers, presenting the same operating and sanitary characteristics as described for RETMAC.
