Mebrafe's cooling lab consists of a refrigerating chamber with a volume of 240 m3 and a machine room with a nominal capacity of 35 kW of refrigeration, working with pumped CO2 and a double stage compression system with NH3.
The lab is able to host performance tests on evaporators, condensers and cooling system components for CO2 and NH3 fluids. It is instrumented with temperature sensors, pressure sensors, anemometers, hygrometers and gas detectors for data collection. It has a wind tunnel for lifting freezing time curves and thermal loads, simulating the conditions found in freezing tunnels. In addition to performance tests, the lab is used for the training of engine rooms technicians and operators and for the development of new equipment, as well as for component testing in severe conditions of temperature and humidity, for the development of supervisory hardware and systems, automation, remote access and development of intelligent machine rooms.
Our company manufactures industrial cooling equipment and has a works division dedicated to the implementation of 'turnkey' refrigeration systems or partial provisions. All of our equipment and installation projects use modern and dedicated software for the elaboration of 3D drawings, facilitating the systems detailing and projects understanding, both for products and pipes / installations.
