Applications:

There are four models of Mebrafe Ice Maker Machines:

FLAKE ICE MACHINE (Capacity from 1.300 to 20.000 kg/24h)

Ice makers are designed and produced with state-of-the-art technology and experience of over 35 years in the market.

General features:

• Forced condensation by means of axial fans with protection grid.
• Low noise semi-hermetic compressors.
• Fire-galvanized carbon steel base, ensuring greater equipment durability.
• Drive electrical control panel with synoptic operation display to better signalize of the process.

These machines are supplied, assembled and tested at the premises, requiring only water and power supply.

Note: these machines can operate with any type of halogenated fluid.

FLAKE ICE GENERATORS (Capacity from 2.000 to 30.000 kg/24h)

Operation description:

• Mebrafe’s flake ice generator is a fixed vertical cylinder with double wall externally insulated (1).
• The water is guided to the upper part (2) by a pump (3) and flows continuously through the inner wall (4).
• The refrigerant fluid evaporates inside the jacket (5) and freezes the water, and its surplus is sent to the recovery tank (7) by a deflector (6).
• The central axis (8), driven by a geared motor (9), has a support equipped with a helical milling cutter (10) that spins and detaches the ice so it fall through the bottom of the cylinder, where rubber dryers that rotates next to the breaker, thus obtaining dry ice.

As the ice is obtained by mechanical release, and not by hot gas cycles, this machine’s performance is excellent as it provides the product at a low energy cost.

AMMONIA FLAKE ICE GENERATORS

• Jacketed tubes made of carbon steel and hot dip galvanized that produce ice on the external and internal faces - stainless steel tubes option.
• Complete horizontal liquid separator: automatic level control, liquid injection system, expanded polyurethane insulation covered in smooth aluminum plate.
• Ice breaker with high performance VI poles electric motor.
• High performance water pump, VI pole motor.
• Structure of galvanized carbon steel sheets and profiles, guaranteeing extended equipment lifespan - stainless steel structure option.
• Set of automatic valves.
• Electric panel for automatic ice generator control, with adjustable time clock for ice formation cycle, using PLC.
• Usual application in poultry cooling chillers, fishing industry etc.

AMMONIA TUBE ICE GENERATORS (Capacity from 3.000 to 15.000 kg/24h)

These ice generators operate with R-717 (ammonia).

The ice is produced inside A-304 stainless steel tubes with great water circulation, which allows obtaining crystalline tube ice with a diameter of 35mm and an approximate length of 35mm. This ice is produced and expelled automatically by the machine every 20 minutes or so.

Mebrafe’s ice generators are supplied mounted on a metallic structure, insulated with injected polyurethane and coated with 0.8 mm smooth aluminum.

Series Items:

Electrical control panel, magnetic level gauge, solenoid valve with filter, geared motor for ice cutting and recirculation centrifugal water pump.

They must be connected to refrigeration systems with an evaporation temperature of -10ºC.
